I create cultural experiences that make people laugh, cry and think. I use the stories of the past to help audiences reflect on the world we live in today, and how we can contirne to strive for a better worl. I do this by finding the answers to two fundamental questions: why here, and why now? I identify what audiences want and how best to reach them.
I am Exhibitions and Interpretation Manager at IWM. I lead on the reinterpretation on board HMS Belfast, bringing alive important and relevant histories, creating an entertaining and engaging visitor experience.
To build family audiences at IWM Duxford and HMS Belfast, I created Family Mission: D-Day edition for HMS Belfast and IWM Duxford, winning Best Educational Day Out Award from Day Out with the Kids.
I transformed the communications for the Centre for Public Engagement at Queen Mary University of London, overseeing a 16% increase in newsletter subscriptions and a a 22% increase in social media followers, translating to 50% increase in Advice Surgery attendance in the first year.
At Royal Museums Greenwich, I was an active and tireless audience advocate on the highly commended Endeavour Galleries project.
